Team TranSport announces third driver for Petit Le Mans
September 12, 2007 Boston, MA - Team TransSport announced today that Marc Basseng (DE) will join past series champion Terry Borcheller (US) and team co-owner Tim Pappas (US) as their third driver at the 10th aniversary of the Petit Le Mans.
Marc joined the team as their third driver at the Mobile-1 12-hour of Sebring and is a welcome addition for the 1000 mile endurance test at the Road Atlanta.
Racing in Germany, Marc won prestigious 24 hour race at the Nurburing Nordslieff this year in the same Porsche 911 RSR.
Marc is also a leader in the VLN series, the German endurance racing series where he also drives a Porsche 911 RSR.
We are very pleased that mark will be running with us again.
